That hotel was in a marvellous location, in the center of town. What's more, it was not far from Eiger, the Grindelwald train station and restaurants, town, the cable car to First.

The location in front of a bus stop was comfy. Moreover, the area was relatively quiet. The bed was comfortable, and overall the room was well-kept and nicely decorated. I had a SPECTACULAR view of mountain.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! The Eiger-view room with balcony was jaw-dropping and worth the extra cost. The staff was super friendly and gave us fantastic hiking recommendations. The hotel had a trendy boutique atmosphere with a charming outdoor area. The location, although a little ways up the mountain, was conveniently accessible with free bus passes. The room was cozy, modern, and spotless. We loved the staff's knowledge about the area and the breathtaking view of the North Face of the Eiger. The hotel's convenient location allowed for easy access to attractions and transportation. The colorful room, with its unique shower curtain, added a romantic touch. The attention to detail without being pretentious was refreshing. The hotel offered GREAT value for the price, especially in expensive Switzerland. The pickup service from Grindelwald was a nice touch. The hotel's cozy wooden chalet look was beautiful. Check-in was a breeze, and the reception provided plenty of information about activities and dining options. The room was spacious and had an amazing balcony view. Breakfast was more than adequate, with a delicious selection of breads, cheeses, croissants, and more. The dining area was inviting and the option to boil your own eggs was a fun addition.

The breakfast was really good - local produce, fresh and delicious. The view from our room was great. Peaceful scenary.
The bathroom had a see-through glass door, which makes it quite awkward when you share a room with a friend/enjoy your privacy whilst in the bathroom/toilet.

Lovely welcome from Conny with lots of added extras ie Afternoon tea available to help yourself to and power bars with an honesty box. A lovely comfortable lounge area with books in various languages. Great local action photos on the Walls by her husband Beni. All rooms beautifully and individually decorated. All have good mountain views. Outside decking with bean bags and BBQ looking out on the Eiger. Best breakfast out of 20 hotels we have visited over the last 6 weeks - check out the birchermuesli!
Not really a hotel for young children. Located out of the main village but served by free bus.

The view from the room was breathtaking and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a delicious variety of options.
The noise from other guests in the wooden chalet was occasionally bothersome, and the hotel lacked tea and coffee facilities in the room. checking in after 9pm was not possible.
